So that is where I’d like to begin my daily reflections today. A vision of a field, ripe for the harvest. It is something that I have been really inspired by an image that I had saw online. A vision of a harvest that is ready for the taking. Yeah, it is a metaphor for my current circumstances. Where I’m at right now, let’s just say that when times are tough, some days, it can be very difficult to see what the end result of what all this dedication and showing-up daily is adding up into. It can be hard to see that end result when all we can really see is the obstacles that are just ahead of us.

But that image of a field, ripe for the harvest, that is my vision of what it would be like as a freelancer in the coming months, maybe in a year, or two. But for now, it starts with my one single client. Even though I don’t yet have another client, or multiple projects lining up in the pipeline waiting for me, I am pouring all that I have, all of my energy, all of my soul into this one project/client because I have to believe, and trust that when I have given everything to this one project, it can be that seed that will eventually lead to a field. The trust and credibility that I have been fighting extremely hard to build will eventually lead into something.

As I continue to focus on doing the work that I need to do on a daily basis, I continue to trust in the process. Even if I can’t see the whole harvest right now, I will continue to focus all of my energy and attention on this one client, this one project and I will make it the very best work I have ever done. I trust that that would have to be more than enough to kickstart the rest of the projects that will follow.
