Well, I think it seems quite obvious that writing these “Shorts” has become quite a pattern for me in recent weeks. I’ve found it much easier to just share my thoughts and feelings in small, bite-sized postings. Don’t get me wrong, I still love writing and I look forward to writing about something interesting and meaningful when the inspiration and creative juices flow. In the meantime, I’m taking things one day at a time. It’s also exactly how I’m feeling about pretty much everything else in my life right now. While I can sense a tinge of hopefulness, and some feelings of positivity, I’ve chosen to remain cautious and grounded. As much as I want to be all positive about what lies ahead, I feel more comfortable these days staying in the “cautiously optimistic” zone. Each day, I would get up, and I would say a little prayer, asking God to guide me and help me to make the best of each day.
