I won’t lie, I think that the state of worrying about something beyond our control is a waste of energy and time. It’s the greatest distraction that I can face right now. And there are moments in each day where I would feel really tempted to allow myself to get sucked into that state of worrying. It is also why I am doing all I can to focus on what is within my control. Focusing on one task, objective at a time. For now, trying to think too far ahead only creates room for potential worrying to step in. When I pause, it gives room for anxiety to creep in. That is usually one of the first signs that I’m entering the state of worrying. So I would often do everything that I can to avoid/prevent it from happening. For me at least, as proven in the past, when I begin to dwell on my anxieties or allowing them to fester, it can really suck the time and energy out of me.
